well I'm sorry I missed this one over the holidays but I'll add my .02 anyways.  I'm a smaller guy so I have no business wearing anything big. It just doesn't look good on my wrist. Which is a real shame because that eliminates a lot of great watches.  I've found that I can push 41mm depending how the dial and case are laid out.  Typically I see that the thickness is related to the width, they're usually proportionate because of complications and asthetics so the smaller watches I wear aren't overly thick and it all works out.  While celebraties and fashion may be pushing the idea of Big watches as the trend to follow I'll be looking for the 38-41mm sizes and hoping to find interesting and affordable styles in this range.  This may be why I always look at vintage watches lately.  I'm all for the great designs being produced but I wish they'd consider a smaller version in their line ups as well....or.... if any of you want to part with your smaller watches I may be interested;)
