I received the Swiss Made/Swiss Military "Hercules"  today and I can say without doubt the best deal of the year so far....at $149.a show special offered on JTV last Wed. due to them selling out all the Oceanauts and had a 15% off coupon to boothand6.gif...... this watch is Awesome with it's satin/polished finish, arcitectural designed case and Claro 888 auto movement....36mm square which all should know is not small in square watch standards....it measures 50mm diagonally and equals any 42-43mm watch I own and the dial is exceptional ... nice and hefty with a sweet bracelet ....curved saph crystals frt/bk and Awesome lume...perfect.gif

Mark...right now the movement is running spot on...simple in design but looks to be a brute 18j...incabloc....for those who were not aware George J.VonBurg makes the Claro-Semang 888 so that speaks volumes to mehand6.gif...the watch is now at $399. on JTV but I have asked TT if they would bring it back this week at the $189. show price as many were not aware of the special...so watch for the newsletter...I will definetly snag a black dial then!....TY everyoneyahoo.gif

I was just looking at those and the rest of the Hanawa line yesterday, they have some very nice pieces.  Hanawa is the only other company i have seen using the CL888.  I have an Oceanaire and it runs just fine.  Too bad Zodiac killed it off so fast...

Nice pickup Oscar, congrats! hand6.gif

Cheers,
Griff

Yea these the Zodiac and Montres Edouard Lauzieres watches you can end up with a either or CL888 or Eta 2824 in the watch.
