Just wanted to know how they compare to each other...

I owned for a little while a Sea Angler but there were some things that I wasn't fond of... so I just wanted to see how the Monstrum was in comparison..  with respect to lume? bezel wiggle (mine moved if you held it a 12 and 6... had a lot of play top to bottom), and the bezel felt a little a bit like plastic.

Please don't take this post as a knock on them, as I love the look, just the one I had --those issues bothered me... and wanted to know if the Monstrum had improved those.

The bezel is a sixty click one on the Monstrum and mine is rock solid, that said all my anglers are as well .Maybe you  had a bad one .

As for the lume its poor i can not put any other way.

Tha strap is fantastic nice and soft with a deployment . When they become available as an extra i will be getting another.

I like the watch a lot some people complained about the noise from the roter, crank that i am  i like the noise. Some arm movements cause the watch to almost throb on your wrist

Hope this was helpful

ian

I have never experienced any problems with a Sea Angler and I own them all ....imho a super buy when 1st introduced at $350.and $435. for the Swiss Made and selling for much higher now on the resale market.....the Monstrum is a totally different watch but if the Angler was not to your satisfaction I doubt the Monstrum will be as it costs less but is again a good value for money spent......;)

I have owned four Sea Anglers and did not have any bezel issues with any of them.  The lume though, was not too great save for the special 3T version modded by Kent Parks.  The Monstrum is slightly larger than the Sea Angler.  I have the blue Monstrum and the bezel has a little play.  The lume is very dim.  I would say the Sea Angler was better made than the Monstrum.

I would tend to agree with Eric. ;)
