Hi Gregger,

Fuji S5100 also known as Fuji S5500 in some countries. They are the exact same camera.

In order to take better or more magnified pics, basically you need macro close up filters. But in order for your S5100 to be able to accept an additional lens as an attachment, you need a LENS ADAPTER.

Below is a link when you can get a lens adpater with UV filter & Polarized lens at a good price.

LENS ADAPTER FOr FUJI S5100

Now for macro close up filters, when you get the above which means your camera accepts 52mm filters. So below is a link for 52mm close up filters, they are quite good in my opinion:

52mm MACRO CLOSE UP FILTERS

Unless you want VERY good filters, you can go for Nikon 3T and Nikon 4T but of course more expensive. Or even the Canon 250D. All the three are 52mm close up filters.

I would suggest you try out the above links first or similar type of filters and adapter before moving forward. Cos with those, you can still take quite good macro pics.

Gregger,

I would strongly suggest you to start off with the kits that I've mentioned first. Cos it is not worth investing on accessories that is almost 1/2 or 1/3 the price of your camera. Ya know what I mean?

However, the kits that I mentioned are quite good price and you will be able to take good shots too. I've peronally used them before on my ex-cam a prosumer camera Panasonic FZ20.:)

That Sux Gregger! The reason I suggest going to a Cam Shop is that You Can take Your Cam and actually Try the Lens You WantBeing that your Fuji only has a 10cm Macro mode you definetly want a Macro Lens set,but if you never used one a Cam Shop can show you proper ways to use them Like stacking the lens' etc. ....Your Results will be Well Worth the Time spent at the Cam ShopI Have a set of Macro Lens You can Have that are Like on those on eBay that came with my Cam from Jacky...just pay the shipping...then all you need is the Adapter O.A.
