I went to smileys central, but they wanted to load up my computer with a ton of adware/spyware/toolbar etc. to use their smileys.   Unless I'm missing something, no way do I like that bargain!  :X

Hi Tom, yes there will be a "search the web" tool bar with the Smileys on one of the tool bar. But as long as you do not use other than Smileys on the tool bar, it is all right.  And also if you PC has spyware protection like Spybot, Adware ....etc there is really no problem at all.

So far it works quite well. As I have Norton Internet security on, I was unable to download it but there were a few options in case you faced problems. So one of those options enabled me to download it successfully.

And there is a uninstall tool too, so it is kinda safe according to me(up till this moment since I have been using).

Hope that helps.

NB: Just be aware that "Ask Jeeves" DOES re-route your searches to a server that "captures" your IP and the nature of your request!  It's part of the "price of doin' business" with 'em!  Frankly, I'll just keep using Google and downloading their GIF's to my own folder as they come along!  Works for me!
