Thanks bill.   I'm sure I was much more of a sissy at the time.  In hindsight, I question what is real vs imagnation creeping into reality. 

The leg?  I think I'll get off w/o surgery.  Two and a half  weeks later and I'm walking without a limp.  The blood pooling in the foot is gone.  I'm back to walking the dog and will try light jogs in another week...maybe.

Ken, Agree with your comments 100%.  It's too easy to take your place in the ecosystem/foodchain for granted.  It doesn't take much to remind you of how frail we can be.
