Proud owner of a Vintage Kamp Sapphire. Arrived late friday afternoon, 2 days after i placed an order with Anders.

All i can say is that i'm very impressed. The watch has surpassed my expectations. I was quite unsure about the sapphire crystal, but upon wearing the watch i was convinced i made the right choice. Fits great under the cuffs!

Many thanks to Anders who was very accomodating and answered all my queries. Top guy to deal with.

Here are some photos i took this morning. cold and gloomy this morning here in Sydney but cleared up around noon.

Cheers,

Jose

New strap arrived yesterday... Rob Montana V1 Vintage Ammo with lots of tail (date stamped 1945). Goes real well with the Kamp imho.

Here are a few q&d shots.

Cheers

the blue stitching really compliments the blue outline of the hands - looks beeeeee-eautiful!

Excellent choice - awesome combo

I want to order a Kampfschwimmer. Which one I should choose, display back or steel back?

Steel caseback is a more accurate hommage to the original kampfschwimmer I believe. It will probably sit better on the wrist as the acrylic pops out a bit.

Go for the acrylic caseback if you want to see the nicely decorated unitas movement.

I have mine on the acrylic back. Might switch to a steel caseback just to change it up a bit.

you really cant go wrong with either. the kampf is one cracker of a piece!

goodluck and post up some pics when u get it.

Wow! Very dapper indeed.  Great cut on the coat and the jeans, and of course the watch too.  I've got the same model as you.  I must say you East Coast Swannies have better dress sense than those of us on the West Coast (was in Perth for 4 years and man was it tough to dress up without being ragged on by the Northbridge bogans.)
