Got here (for whatever reason) too late to vote...but my 2 cents is that if you won't wear the Rolex because you are afraid of losing it, for any reason, you should simply sell it now,or get an insurance "rider" for it (it is not that expensive). Bottom line: Enjoy it or sell it!

Enjoy your trip too vancouver! If you have time checkout the Observatory for diner, it's on top of grouse mountain overlooking the city. Palladio is worth a look for fine watches! I was going to suggest a visit to Grouse as well. Lynn Valley Canyon is worth a few snapshots too. It's warm today he could easily take a trip to Wreck Beach as well...inquire about that one Pax
