I'm back stateside nowsnoopy1.gif. We will be be going through our outprocessing over the next 4-5 days and then it's off to the houseparty.gif. It feels good to breath air that is moist and not laden with dirt and know that I'm just a few days away from my family and friends. And once again a big THANK YOU to all my 3T friends. I appreciate you being there for me.

Thanks Everyone. We started the outprocessing today and continue tomorrow. It looks as if I'll be home sometime after the 16th. My unit actually flies on the 16th, but I have a medical appt that day which will put me departing behind them. The staff here has made a real effort over the last year to streamline the de-mob process and get us out of here as quickly as possible. If today was any indicater, they've done a good job of it, but still need a touch of refining here and there. Our Brigade HQ has also deployed people here to help the resident staff facilitate our transition back. I'm glad this is almost over.

Not exactly by choice. I have to have an evaluation done to complete my medical outprocessing. Unfortunately, to complete all my outprocessing, medical has to be complete first.

Take it from this Navy Vet. That is a good thing even though it is annoying. ;)

Well, I didn't have to stay at Ft Bliss and have been back home for a few days enjoying my family. My wife is esctatic that I'm home and my son seems to have taken to me fairly easily. He's a bit of a chunk, already 20lbs at 5 months old. We reported for the last time today and now I'm going to enjoy my time and relax for the week as best I can. I've also been wearing my MK II Stingray for a few days now:D and it seems to be running at +2 a day consistentlyThumbsUp02.gif.

Jeff that sounds great. I can't imagine what it must be like to have a son or family for that fact but take it all in and get all the joy you can from it. MK II sounds great will have to snag one some day. LOL

It's great that you're finally home and settling in with your family after what probably seemed like forever! And great news about your son! You must be one proud poppa! It must feel pretty amazing coming home to that! I think I can speak for not only all of us here at 3T, but everyone in the "US of A" who stayed behind while you served to keep us safe. We can't thank you enough. Welcome home and God bless. :)

Thanks guys. I'm actually sitting here typing this one handed due to the fact that my son is sitting on my knee:D. The wife is a little conflicted about this, on one hand she's happy that I have no issue with taking care of him, but on the other, I'm already introducing him to the WIS worldsubtlelaugh.gif
