Hello All,  I have been on the fence for the past few days about pre-ordering a Moray, I am leaning towards the silver dial with orange minute hand.  My watch collection is fairly small, and I do not have a silver dial.  So I think the silver would give me much more use than say some of the colored dials.

My question is, the case, does it resemble anything on the market today, past or present.  I've seen in referred to as a vintage style, and just wanted to review some pictures of the case completed.  Can anyone point me to anything particular.

I have had a tissot quadrato, and the squareness didn't wear well on my wrist, so just wanted to get your input on the Moray, since the case is round, then sqaure, and back to round.  Forgive my ignorance if i'm not explaining correctly.

Any help would be great, thank you...

Brian...

Ralf -- MORAY watch based on inspiration from the "old diver" shown below is pure genius and shows your true commitment to Dive Watches. I don't think you could have picked anything better for inspiration ... you've really picked a RETRO CLASSIC !  And stayed very true to the original.

I am patiently waiting to see the green dial, so that I can decide between BLACK DIAL or GREEN DIAL for my second MORAY... first choice as you know, is the SEAFOAM.

GREAT JOB !!!

Ralf --

Will the Moray bezel have the same profile?  With the ridges along the top edge of the bezel?  I really like that.

Jim

Ralf,

What is the finish on the vintage diver you posted in this thread?  Is it polished, brushed,or blasted?  Thank you for the information.
