This watch follows in the proud tradition of the Pro Diver line. The fit and finish are Omega worthy in my opinion. The heft and overall dimensions give this Pro Diver a lot of presence on the wrist. The Helmet logo on the endlinks is a great detail and a really nice touch.

The Movement is the tried and true Miyota automatic.  Solid watch at a great great price.

The pictures do this 47mm chunk O steel no justice.

Congrats Eric!  I knew you would like it.   For as big as it is, it wears really well.  Enjoy!

So,  What will be your next color choice??  ThumbsUp02.gif

I must say... it really is a good looking watch and the polish on the case and bracelet is really well done.

For the price I paid, I am happy party.gif

I'll say this... at 7% the cost of an Omega, this Diver is not too far off in terms of the casework and Bracelet.  I have owned about 7 Omegas in that not too distant past from Seamaster Professionals down to a few pedestrian Dynamics. This watch is niiiiiiiice.

Lookin' very nice there Eric !! ThumbsUp02.gif

A classic looking diver and I must say you pull off that 47mm diameter quite easily and make it look fantastic on the wrist.

I ordered an Invicta Corduba Diver Chronograph (Gunmetal with the Gunmetal Stainless/Rubber Strap) that I got at a really great price, but ended up returning it a couple weeks ago because with a bezel diameter of 52mm!!!(Yowzerrr!!)...I just couldn't pull it off on my average 7 inch wrist.  mistake.gif  I really got a wake up call on what I can comfortably wear on my wrist (the guys they had wearing it on the show that sold me must have had very beefy wrists).

Anyway...I say all that to say that the quality/construction of the piece impressed me (even though it was a quartz).  It seems like the Invicata brand seems to get it's fair share of haters and lovers.  I still may buy one at some point in the future (the Corduba would have been my first Invicta if I hadn't returned it).

Really liking the looks of your Pro Diver!!  Nice choice.woohoo.gif

Hey Stew,  I know what you mean about Invicta..  Every now and then you can get a nice deal on a nicely made watch. This Grand Diver is really nice..300m solid end links, Miyota workhorse and a nice hefty case to boot.  My wrist is not that big 7 1/4 tops, but the dimensions of my wrist are somewhat flat so that it is a bit wider than someone with the same size wrist perhaps.  I was certain 47mm would be too much but it seems to be fine.

Eric, is that 47 mm with or without the crown?

Hey Ray, it's 47 without the crown.  I really thought it would be a lot bigger but it's a really size.

Thanks, Eric. It really doesn't look overly large. My 7" wrist is flat and wide like yours; I wear mostly 44-45 mm quite comfortably, so I could probably pull off this one too.

It's easy to rag on Invicta, but one thing they do as well as anyone is low priced Rolex homages. I have an 8926 and it's a great value considering what I paid for it. Only complaint is that it's too small. I'll definitely check out the Grand Diver. Thanks for posting your pics.

Eric,

It looks really good. I only have one Invicta, a Corduba (B&R style Chrono). I have looked at this one but I'm not sure if I'm ready to pull the trigger, but your helping me make up my mind.

Another thing I like is that this watch doesn't have the ubiquitous Mercedes hour hand.

Agree on that Mercedes hand. Prefer these hands much more.
