I would suggest that you go with the Oceanaire. I see that it has a saphire crystal. I have the deep reef, and the mineral crystal is highly reflective which I do not care for.

The only downside is that it is twice as much as the deep reef.

I personally do not mind have one or two quartz watches to chose from. It is nice to have a watch ready to go when you are. I don't have a winder to fit all of my watches....

I can get the Oceanaire from Zodiac for $270... seems like quite a deal.

Did you get the Oceanaire yet?  That watch is very close to the top of my want list.

How does it compare in size to a Montrum or Sea Angler?  Anyone have a side-by-side pic?

Cheers,

gigfy

Decided not to purchase the Oceanaire at this time ... but went with something else.  Thank you everyone for your comments and votes.  The Oceanaire is still on my list though....

So what did you end up with in place of the Zodiac?

I got a great deal NIB  Black Dial OCEAN7 LM-3 from a real gentleman at WUS.  So, I decided to put the Zodiac purchase on hold for the moment.  Regretably my Olympus Dig Cam busted and I've yet to replace it.... I know, I know, it's no excuse.... but I do intend to get a new camera, and I will get some photos in the monthly contest.

Thanks for asking... I guess we can delete this thread if you so desire.  The choice is clearly the Oceanaire from the above votes.

Jim
