Just got this now-discontinued Ballade II, used but in very good condition.  A new addition to my current preference for smaller pieces.

Those of you who own similar models will be familiar with the butterfly-clasp bracelet, which is well made, matches the look of the watch and wraps well around a slim wrist but the stepped bezel on this watch just made me want to put a mesh on it.

Result!

A nicely-detailed and legible dial, 37mm case width and 18mm lugs.

Nicely-stepped bezel

Low profile case sits unobtrusively on the wrist.

Nothing surprising here.  Swatch-owned brand, Swatch-owned movement.

I haver the Ballade I. A very nice  watch that I just don't wear often because of the size.

That sure is a classic watch - and the mesh certainly works well.  I just love mesh bracelets - really versatile on anything from vintage to modern watches.
