Friends, Romans and Countrymen...am in Casio mode this month and have just discovered the high-end Casios, the Oceanus in Cachalot and Manta variations. They are apparently superb, the titaniun is covered with an unscratchable material and the workings are mind boggling. Have gone to the bay to sniff around and...gasp, I see some Oceanus for $50 bucks...What gives????...aren't they supposed to be the high-end Casios? Please provide input and education.

Danger! Danger! Get back to the ship, Will Robinson!

Oceanus is indeed Casio's high end line. However, I'd be suspicious of ANY watch claiming to be titanium being sold for $50.00, much less an Oceanus. Always check your seller to ensure they have lots of positive feedback, then be suspicious anyway, because people have been known to sell inexpensive trinkets to build up a high level of positive feedback, then try to reel in the suckers with expensive items just not worth the cost.

The old saying is true - if it seems too good to be true, it probably is...

You should expect Oceanus watches to run between $450 - $650. Titanium is always more expensive than steel. Good luck!
