Here's my latest watch arrived last saturday from the US. My first "Made in Germany" watch. Been a great deal for the money and I'm pleased with the watch. 17.5mm thick and 43mm diameter...50mm from crown to crown as the Helium escape valve is manual. Came in a beautifull wood-box with a silicone strap, steel brace and leather strap: The guy who had it took care of it and it seems like only the leather strap was gently used. After a while,I poped it on the bracelet: It's the original signed L&B (Lindburgh&Benson)...A massive 24mm and 5 links wide who gives a chunky look at once! Great marking on the dial who "dive" in the wath with lume dots on sides: Very precise marking on fifth of second!! Lume is ok: Maybe I'll take some shots later. By OK , I mean good but not LUMEZILLA. The bezel(one way) is smooth with 60 clicks: Good on the grip. Flat sapphire crystal( No AR apparently). Crowns are with good grip but could have been bigger: Still, there is a tool(Tube key) to use on the crowns who's coming with the watch. To make easy a full locking before diving: Nice!. This watch feels strong and seems ready to take everything. Minus: No lume dot on the bezel and too thin thread on the crown who can be a pain to screw on the case after time setting....To screw wrong the thread can be a problem because it will false it: Apparently it goes sometimes wrong in it due to a previous "incident". The thing is that it would not have happen if the thread was more massive... Will get that fixed by my watch-maker I think. Also I prefer screw-pins on the lugs and here the fabricant opted for usual pins... Watch lost 5 seconds in 30 hours: I'm pleased. I can not complain: I've made a great deal on this 1000 meter tool. Thrue , there is something strange there: Look on the site of Schaumburg... There's another model with a full numbered dial. My model is there also(with a different date showing) and still got the 9 and 12 in a way and the 3 is the same way as the full numbered dial...? On the full numbered dial, the 9 and 12 fits my 3: Same style to all numbers there.... |

Big Congrats, Williamhand6.gif. Schaumburg watches are made in a small town in Germany known for excellent scenery, the Schaumburg Watch Co, and good vineyards, too. 3 things I like about your watch: 1) the bezel is really a neat design and so direct-to-the point useful 2) the dial is a no-nonsense dial too and the big numerals will really help in the dark 3) and this I like best: the crown, it's protection device and the way you said it could be locked. Thanks guys! Yes the bezel and case is very particular on those and the Nautic-fish. This model was bought by the previous owner in 2006. I had it with still the plastic on the back of the case and came under 500buks with shipping and Norwegians customs included so it was a great deal... Now Schaumburg came out with different dials and even somes in carbon-fiber: I could think about changing the dial on mine if it was possible...Maybe with orange numbers.... The movement on this one: 2824.2 Eta was heated before beeing placed to avoid moisture presence in the case: That's a nice thing. Watch weigh 262g with the bracelet. Jeff says "Enjoy it in good health, amigo! I think the 3 morays of your avatar are shivering in fear after seeing your "bad" watch" Those are Sea-wolfs or sometimes called Cat-fish also amigo! And believe me:They don't shiver...It's an agressive fish who's breaking shells and chopping fishes to feed: They bite and never give up...Hehehe: Never put your fingers in them mouth to take off the hook, even they look dead. The skin is so hard that we use it sometimes as leather up here. |

William, I'm not very sure but I think you can fit a re-worked orange Enzo dial into the Nauticfish and for sure that watchsmith friend of yours can work on the Enzo dial a bit. Maybe the chapter ring may pose a challenge to the fit because I think yours is a bit more 'scallopped'. Thanks for the info on the Sea Wolf (I'll research on them). I think they are the same family as the Barracuda if their behaviour is like what you describe. Do you find worm parasites in their bellies and attached to their skin/scales when you catch them? For finger-snapping fish like that and where we're sure they are keepers, we usually club them on the head with our fish clubs first before we remove our hooks/lures. I'd love to fight fish like those, amigo!!! |

The thing is to get a dial from Schaumburg directly or to get to know the diameter of the dial: Seems like a 28.5mm but I'm not sure....The steel chapter ring is cool also: I must think.... Saw a video of a choped-off head from a Sea-wolf, still biting after 10mnts!!:shock: |

Congratulations! I have one with the blue dial and numbers all around. Mine came on blue leather and I put the bracelet on it. Very "beefy" and built like a tank. I love the level of precision in the rotating bezel. Lines up perfectly and turns with very positive clicks. I really like mine. My only criticisms are: no divers extension on the bracelet and the second hand isn't easy to see quickly since it's all black except for the lumed tip.
