Greetings everyone,

Middle-aged watch newbie here.  Again, late to the party.  Recently been bitten by the Diver Watch bug.  Don't dive, though.  Discovered Orsa watches and bought one of the Sea Anglers before they sold out.  My first Diver.  :)

As (my) luck would have it though, it arrived D.O.A.  :(  After taking the case back off, I noticed that it shipped without a battery.  :?  Normal?

Sorry to have my first post include a plea for help, but does anyone know the correct model number for the lithium battery that I need for the SA?  I'm hoping that I can pick one up locally.  Anxious to start wearing this beauty.

Thanks in advance.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

RangerDad

Welcome to 3T, sorry to hear about you problem...I'm sure that was a mistake and Berg will take care of it right away.

I would suggest emailing him and you can also try to PM him through 3T.

If anyone else know the battery they will let you know

Just did a Google search on the Ronda 715 movement, looks like it takes a 371 battery.

Good luck!!

PM Berg (owner of Orsa) and tell him what happen.  Your saying you bought the Angler from Orsa..? and if you did, Berg will contact you and get you a new battery.

Just a note Berg is a one man operation and a familiy man too, so be patient he will contact you, but if you are inpatient like me, I just so happen to know the right battery you need, being that I use to own that Angler.  This is exactly what it says on the battery.

Update.

I followed the good advice & contacted Martin about my watch issue.  He got in touch with me very quickly & resolved the problem to my satisfaction.

I know that I'm stating the obvious here, but Mr. Berg is a fine fellow & an excellent businessman.  He will definitely get more of my business. ThumbsUp02.gif

I recently needed a movement repair on my lithium.  The second hand had come loose.  It was an easy repair for a local watchmaker, and it's reassuring to know that Orsa watches are not only tough, but when necessary, easily serviced.  Berg is great at standing behind his product (as you know).  My lithium is my second favorite watch behind only a new Breitling that was gifted to me, but ahead of my Fortis GMT, my Victorinox Automatic Chrono, my CWC automatic dive watch homage, and even my Monstrum.  I hope to keep wearing mine for years to come.....
