Well...Sea Viper #13 Blue arrived in Colorado today.  I certainly cannot top the fantastic pictures offered up by Oscar earlier today (Thanks Oscar!!!), but I know 3T WIS can never get enough pics of a new arrival in the ORSA line...so here you go.  I was able to snap some quick full sun pics earlier today...posting them late as we had a busy evening.

Initial impressions...Love it!!! my love.gif

I ordered this piece because no one does ORSA like ORSA, and as expected...just hold this one up to your watch box and see if it doesn't stand out!!!!(In a very good ORSA way).  I am loving the Blue...simply outstanding...the combination of colors here really works IMO...wrist presence is AWESOME...this thing is built like a tank...super comfortable on the wrist though (both case and bracelet are super comfortable at first look).  Love the beefy and unique "valve type" crown (so cool).

Some pics:

Very cool, Chris. Talk to me about the bracelet please. Any diver's extension?

Thanks Nick and Mark!  Enjoying the ORSA-ness of the Sea Viper!!!

Mark - so on the bracelet...first, I'm very excited about ORSA's first in-house bracelet and it suites the Sea Viper very nicely.  Sorry, no diver's extension (which would have been very nice indeed).  The bracelet clasp has 3 micro-adjuster positions so I was able to get a very nice fit (only had to remove 1 link for my ~ 7.25" wrist).   Bracelet is a non-tapering 22mm and really has some great substance, thickness and heft to it!  The links are nicely machined (not at the Ball bracelet watch or higher end level, but I don't think anyone expects that).    My only thought here (and a very, very minor one indeed) would be slightly different machining of the very nice solid end link to match the lug-tip angle of the case lugs (on the bracelet side of the end-link)...the end-link has a very, very, tight and nicely done tolerance to the watch case itself.

This piece is really cool though, and I know you will enjoy your Orange dial Mark.  Hope it arrives TODAY!!!

Big Congrats, Chris.ThumbsUp02.gif It's hard to determine which of the 3 colors to really go for but that blue is so eye-catching.

Enjoy it in good health!

Thanks for the continued congrats 1mowatch, Tony, Oscar, Nate, and Jeff...thankyou.gif....For those that have yours, I know you are enjoying this excellent piece...for those that don't, I can definitely recommend (3 great color combinations available as well).

After wearing this piece a bit over the weekend, (and sort of oggling the design a bit while on the wrist...)...one thing that occurred to me is that the design of those end link protrusions (on the bracelet side of the end link) seem to mirror the design of the 5 minute marker protrusions on the dial markers (especially when viewed from straight above).

Anyway...don't know if I'm reading too much into it, but would love to chat with Martin as to if that is what he had in mind with the design because IMO it is a bit distinctive, different, and unique.

Loving the Sea Viper!!!thumbsup.gif
