Yes, many been and are still using this case type. If I remember correctly, it's Schaumburg who started with them. It's a massive and heavy watch. For the dial, the 3 seems to be from another style than the other the 9 and 12...Don't know why, but it's a nice dial anyway: I like the lume dots on the chapter ring. I guess that your watch looks bigger on the wrist with a white dial...

...I do think the white dials take some getting used to especially for those of us that are so used to dark and, in particular, Black dials.
