I've been busy at work and amongst other things, such as learning how to restore vintage watch movements. New Stuff: 1) Mido Multifort Hand Wound circa. 1940-1950 30 mm with out crown and 35 mm in length. 2) Palomar Hand Wound Knotted Lugs circa.1942-1951 movement by Louvic 17 Jewels. 3) 1964 M4 Caravelle Hand Wound 17 Jewels Swiss with the Original Speidel USA stretch bracelet. This is the first generation Caravelle by Bulova. Hopefully I have the images of these three watches sometime tonight. Coming Soon: 1) Elgin De Luxe square case Caliber 555 circa.1942 signed USA 17 Jewels 4 Adjustments. 2) Elgin De Luxe Tank Caliber 694 circa. 1945 signed USA 17 Jewels 4 Adjustments. These two Elgins will be posted at a later date as I am waiting for a new balance stem for the 555 movement. While the other is getting a new crystal installed. At The Workshop: 3) Louis Tank Case circa. 1940-1952 4) Rima Square Case circa. 1940 5) 1934 Mido Multifort Black Dial Hand Wound Hexagon Case 6) 1958 Bulova Hand Wound 7) 1959 Bulova Hand Wound These watches belonged to a friend who had asked me if I was interested in restoring them to running order. I took at them and felt that due to their historical importance they should be preserve. Some timepieces have patina on the dial while others are mint. I didn't really care about that. As long as the watch has the original movement, that is all that mattered to me. I was told that there may be one or two trench/wire lug watches, which I might be interested in as well... I have to wait to view them at a later date. Cost of all the watches...traded my Omega Caliber 354 Seamaster for ten watches. Cheers, Simon
