I just wanted to let everyone know I'm back home now. I arrived early afternoon on St Patricks day and have been using the time since then to reintegrate with my family. I missed them so very much. It's wonderful being home and since I'm on leave till early May, then I'm hoping to get to spend a bit of my free time here catching up on things I missed. Also, I'd like to say THANK YOU again to all who sent me care packages, whether I received them or not. The mail system sucked over there and that's being nice about it. Anyways, everyone take care and I'll see you around.

Thanks guys thankyou.gif

Skip... I'm very glad to be home in one piece. A couple friends of mine in other companies didn't make it. Now those families are both bereft of a husband/father. The thought of leaving my little boy behind was almost unbearable at times.

Tony... I'm as home for good as can be given the current situation. It'll be 2yrs before they can send us out again, but my enlistment ends in Nov. I'm reenlisting with at least one of 3 entities, but haven't decided which one yet. I've only got 6yrs left till I meet my requirements for retirement, but can't draw it till I'm 58.
