Today, I was at my cabin on an island in the far Arctic...
There, the silence is absolute during the winter.
I was alone, walking with my snowshoes in the deep snow and took a break on the frozen shore of the fjord.
Holding my breath, the only thing I could hear was my blood beating into my eardrums...
I took some pictures of the surrounding with the watch I had: The Dievas Focal.

Really nice pictures of a stunning landscape(and watch too).

I am a little jealous of this beautiful nature.

I wish I was there.

Thanks Philippe! Yes, this is different from Germany but you have nicer forests: Trees have a hard time to grow up here. Many look like 20 years old but they are at list 60 or more...

The weather wasn't at top but it was a warm day: Maybe -5 celsius...Yes Oscar, the summer time is great up here! With light 24/24 during 2 months.
Bob: Thanks! I didn't take pictures of my snowshoes but they are Tubbs model like the Mountaineer ones.
