i agree but they almost purposely fly under the radar...really thats the whole point behind their actual branding.

I'm sure that the recognition would jump out if Anonimo would come with one or two in-house movements...
Panerai enjoyed mostly them new status from the time Stallone started to wear them in public and because them 6497 got so modified, remembering the old Rolex 618 shapes and giving a half in-house feeling.
In the same time followed the historic heritage everybody had forgot.
Now, the new in-house movements pushed them to another upper level.
I guess Anonimo should go straight to the in-house movement production to really climb in recognition because they as you say Eric #fly under the radar" with advertizing.

i would love to see an in house movement from them, i have a feeling they may not have that expertise, not sure....They also adjust and modify base movements from ETA etc.

Yes I know that they modify and regulate ETA movements...
Developing an in-house movement from scratch would take between 2 to 5 years of work.
There's also the alternative to buy back some old patent or parts/machines from late bankrupted companies who disappeared from the market during the quartz rising period. Like Molnija been doing for Cortébert.
Even I guess that most of them may be hard to put a hand on by now ,but it's just a guess.
Anonimo certainly has the funds or outside financial possibilities to do either two: Even the first option is the most expensive.
It's all about the politic they choose for the future.
