After 2 months of natural aging, my Moray had taken on a nice golden copper tone. Then today I received the LoS I ordered to patina my bronze A1. I was so impressed with myself, I decided to give the Moray a dip.

It turned out gorgeous! Two things affected the outcome. By the time I put the Moray in the solution, it had cooled down, so the patina took longer to develop giving me plenty of time to gauge the progress. I also think the two months of natural patina had protected the surface some, so that the darkening that took place was nice and even. Not the blotchy look that some clean bronzes take on (see my A1 in the Armida forum). It also didn't fill in the bezel numbers like I had hoped, but that again probably had to do with the temperature of the solution being cool by the time I submerged the watch. I polished it lightly with a low grit cloth to brighten up the edges.

BronzeMo on GSD "Coffee" with antique thread. Oddly enough, Gregs Coffee is virtually identical in color to the included Benarus strap, but the texture is much more "rich". Unfortunately my crappy iPhone pic doesn't do enough to capture it.
