Just as the topic title states. What's your surprise watch of the year?

Mine is an ebay sub case that I had MCWW put together for me. The case has a lumed ceramic bezel which glows pretty well. The lume on the hands could be MUCH better but I'm not complaining. The fit and finish is surprisingly nice as well and the bracelet actually has an adjustable divers extension. The heart of the watch is a genuine ETA 2836 I picked up from Ofrei. Right now with 12 hrs continuous on wrist, the watch has been +4 secs so far. I'll update in another 12 hrs.

Mine is a GETAT 47mm Fiddy homage. For just a shade over 100 bucks it is remarkably well put together and with a Seagull handcranker keeps pretty good time!

I suppose mine has to be the first attempt at a home made watch using a Tissot ETA 2836 and a 40 mm case / hand set in the style of a Sub with snowdrop hands from a HK vendor.

Case is good quality and ceramic bezel looks the part.

Lume is fair to crap but for the money I can't complain too much.

So far it keeps good time and the hands haven't fallen off......yet :-)
