Never had a bead blasted watch before. Any comments on them? Do they show scratches more?

I wouldn't say the bead blasted finish necessarily shows scratches more (I actually think the finish has the ability to hide very light scuffs and swirls a bit better than brushed and certainly better than polished which shows light swirlies right away).

The key thing to remember with bead blasted finishes is that you can't easily refinish them yourself if you get a more significant scratch (unless you own a bead blast enclosure).  With brushed and polished, you can pretty easily brush or polish the surface closely back to original.  The only way to return to the original bead blasted finish is to send it out to be re-blasted.
