Awesome shot of the EP Carrillo and Hammy Tony!!! That shot really shows off why you get so much wrist time on that Hammy too...there's an almost 'bronze patina' vibe going on with that one that goes great with the pvd bezel. I not a cigar guy...although I've heard countless times how great they go with a nice Scotch! |

Chris, yes the Hammy was a great year end score for me. Very rivh looking watch and I especially like the strap combo. Yes Scotch and cigars go hand in hand, matter of fact though not in the picture, I was sipping on some at the time |

I definitely respect what the 18 is bringing to the table (there's definitely more depth on the nose and taste)...but when it's all said and done, the 12 continues to blow me away as far as bang-for-the-buck and even more surprising, I find myself preferring the overall taste profile of the 12. The Highland Park is unique in that it offers those sweet notes, but also brings the smoke (I don't get much peat or briny ocean or iodine like you get in the Islays...just depends what your in the mood for). ...but I say all that to say, I would think the smokiness of the Highland Park would go well with a nice cigar. |
