You are one of the MANY wis who's deceived by the manual Helium valve and I would not say that's it's my favorite either...
The problem there with the new line with the 8500&derivative movements: Is that Omega still hold on the old P.O case design.
Making this in-house line looking like the 2500..Eta variants line.
A refreshing touch with automatic H valve would have been more than welcome and would certainly have boosted the sells.
Omega don't seems to bother...

Thanks Tony. We are many to share it in fact: But who knows if Omega's design team or high-ranked responsibles are looking at forums to learn what them customers prefer...
I will not be the guy who will mail them about it.
I already made my pro-bono to G.P and them new Hawk collection with it's overload of plastic&rubber...
Seems like there is also a latex fetish going on
