PLEASE READ:

I am posting these images on 3T today because I am excited about this watch, but I will not start the reservation list until I return from Hong Kong on September 16th. Please do not email me about the Deep Tech yet, I will be traveling and unable to keep track of the questions and requests. I am not posting these images anywhere else until I return from my trip.

I will answer questions on this thread when I can, so please ask them here.

Some specs: The bezel insert is sapphire, the crystal is single domed sapphire so it will have similar dial distortions like a RDSSD. The dials will be gloss ceramic. The white lume will be BGW-9 Superluminova, the vintage lume will be the light orange superluminova. The crystal sits on a 4mm steel ledge of the case, making the crystal diameter 31.5mm and the dial itself 28mm.

Gloss dial, I prefer matte dials.

But I am excited how it looks.

Love all of them Steve!!! Great dimensions and design details.

Tough for me to pick just one as my fav right away.

One thing for sure, Raven and Benarus watches sure do have a negative affect on my bank account! subtlelaugh.gif

It's a bit "Pelagos" without being it too much.
The white date window fits best with the black/white model IMO.
I like the overall look: It might be worth to make a titanium model I guess...

And what about the movement? 2824-2 eta or 9015 Miyota ?

Steve, lots to like about your new Raven. Any chance of a snowflake hour hand?

It is a classically sized dial at 28mm so any snowflake handset will fit it perfectly only thing they will need is lume matching before they are installed, mmm Plongeur hands would look great on that too...

2500M in a 42mm case size w/ HEV is very impressive specs indeed.

I only wished we could see matching date wheel for the light orange lume dials, and ratchet bracelet, similar to the one coming on the Sea Snake.

I'm not a huge fan of date windows at 3 because the balance that's present during daytime is lost at night. Is it not possible to either shift the date between 4 and 5 or add a bit of lum at the 3 marker?

This is a great looking piece, would prefer it under the Benarus brand though.

Personal preference, IMO the Benarus brand has a more classic appeal to it.
