Bought this one last week. However, my father took an instant liking to it so i gave it to him as a present. Cant let the old man walk around with an old Seiko (quartz) on his wrist. Its powered by a ETA 2801, manual winding. Exhibition caseback. Think it is the cheapest model from Glycine. Still, it looks good and works great for a watch that has been a beater since 2011. I offered my father to pay for service and a new plexi. But he says he likes the scratches that are on the glass. Despite this, i believe it would be best to have a pro take a look at the watch and give it some TLC on the inside just to be safe. Attachment: DSC_0007 (2).jpg (Downloaded 87 times)

Very nice gesture I'm sure he will enjoy it. That movement from the picture, looks nicely decorated

Here is another photo of the movement. As you all can see there is a big and deep scratch. Previous owner tried to open it up with a pair of pliers. So yes, i got this one for a very nice price. The 2801-2 is a 2824-2 without automatic module. This little ticker is bomb-proof and a real combat ready movement. Nice beater!
