Some new information posted by Clemens today about the dials on the awesome Helberg CH1's that are being delivered currently. I had not realized how different the dials would need to be between the double domed crystal version and the spherical bubble crystal version, but it makes complete sense to me after thinking about it! I should also mention that based on the real life pics I've seen so far, all versions are absolutely HOT! Can't wait to receive mine!!! Just passing the info along while we wait for CH1 arrivals! Clemens info: "Both, the dial for the double domed crystal and the dial for the spherical crystal are absolutely different as you could see in the image below. Same as the original RLX DSS, which had no date window, the CH1 crystal has so high distortions that a date window would be impossible to see or it would touch the dial marker in very unattractive way. To see the date would had required to use a newly developed movement or maybe a tiny quartz movement. With our SWISS ETA 2824 it was impossible to include into the dial for the spherical crystal and we are closer to the original!" Attachment: CH1 dial comparison (r).jpg (Downloaded 34 times)

[/Mine is about 38,000 feet above sea level on its way to me. WIth the backlogs at the airport from the Christmas rush, I think mine will be on my wrist Jan 3 or 4. Totally understand the dial differences. Makes sense. size]
