Congrats on the very cool new Seiko arrival Phil! Looks awesome!!! thumbsup.gif I wasn't that familiar with this Seiko model, but looking at the features, a very cool Solar tool! Enjoy this one!

Anonimo Militare for me on an extremely mild weather weekend (forecast is for 67°F today and 71°F for Superbowl Sunday tomorrow - Don't worry, snow storm forecast to move in Monday with the high on Tuesday forecast to be 18°F).subtlelaugh.gif

Thanks my friend.
For me the best release from SEIKO last year.

It was on my list since the announcement from SEIKO.

One thing I am annoyed about is the missing timer function.
I can't understand Seiko why they do that. Makes no sense.
But at the end this watch is ultracool.

I'm actually through with Seiko.
The constant quality problems especially with the alignment, the permanent special models of nearly every watch and the constant higher prices thid is not the brand seiko I liked years ago.

This Arnie has a bad feeling when I turn the bezel. A bit cheap, not really crisp. And a bit of play in every direction.

Here in Germany is a really warm weather too. We have 13° Celsius since a few days.
This is not my winter weather.

Sorry to hear about the bezel feel on your new Seiko Phil! That is disappointing to hear for sure. Seiko has always been known to have very nice bezel action imo, even on their budget models so it seems they may be cutting some corners on this new one.

Like you said, with everything else this offers, would certainly have made sense to include a timer function. hmmm....

Mild, strange weather you are having too.
