Oscar,

Obviously I would be interested in the right design. Some of the mock ups shown dont do it for me. Will we get a final design/color combo etc. prior to the go ahead, so we can make a final decision?

If so, count me in:)

Also, may I suggest starting a new thread with an outline of what we know, if anything so far. Unless its just me, this thread is starting to get difficult to make heads or tails out of.:)

That is the intent once James gets back to me about Design and Final Price...until then we need to just be patienttime2.gif once He has what we need to see... a new thread will be started...all I can say is there are only a few more needed to reach 25 commitments...no one is being held to purchasing at this point, but once all the info is in and anyone left sitting on the fence decides they want one there may be none left...a Total of only 33 will be made and this thread is a commitment thread or pm me as many already havehand6.gif...based on my Orsa Sea Angler I can say it will be well worth the wait...a very short wait at that!James has been busy speaking to those involved at Orsa as of our last converstaion, and I'm sure James doesn't work weekends like most of us O.A. I am glad that the progress has been made and that the printing on the dial has been addressed.  That was the only concern that I had due to the tooling up cost for small run would be great.  The engraving of the case back and between the lugs will work and be cost effective.  The only input is that the type of engraving needs to be deep.  Using a 45 degree channel, and a cutting depth of .5mm should work as a general idea in order to stand out on the case back.  Did not mean to add complicating factors just food for thought.  Since it will be all hand done and not in the casting it should be easy to accomplish.

Updates -

Hello all -

I am still waiting to hear from Martin RE: amount of stock on hand. Please remember that we are hoping that we have enough dials, hands and cases to do this project "less expensively and more immediately" than we would otherwiise have to do this project.

Please, everyone, try to be patient. We want to do this project, we are sincerely hoping that we have the extra materials to do this project less expensively than otherwise necessary.

By the way,

ORSA t-shirts will be on sale shortly for those who are interested.

Projecting a cost of $15 per shirt - plus shipping.

I will ask Oscar if it's okay to do a 3T Orsa shirt -

More to follow -
