Thats a cool story about your 24 hour watch. I don't think I've ever seen that movement. It sounds like a great one. All I see now are the russian model 24 hours moevements. Its a shame A Shield is long gone. I had one of their alarms that I used climbing for several years. Kent

Quite frankly, it runs so well, I'm afraid to have it serviced. Still has the original acrylic crystal....although it has been polished out a few times!
