Thanks OA..   lovin it so far and has a great feel on the wrist.  This is the first issue of John's (Bathys Hawaii) automatics -  this one is #129/150.  This group has an ETA 2824-2 movement - the only ones that will have the ETA. The next batch in 2007 will have the Swiss-made Selitta SW200 (equiv to 2824-2).
Like I said... am a happy WIS right now.

Congratulations Steve on a very nice looking Bathys. I just posted today elsewhere how the left me a bit cold but I have to say your stealth example has turned my head. Very nice!! What's the original strap material?

I haven't been keeping up on Bathys developments and am surprised they are going to the SW2000. Must be easier to source. I'm sure John has a good reason. Truly makes the eta examples limited!

Congratulations again and happy holidaze!! I am certain you meant to say you're a happy WIS, not WUS!! toon1.gif

Hey Pax...  the original strap is a black leather (water proof and a little shiny) with white stitching.  John indicated that  the Selitta people were a little easier to work with, Bathys being a smaller business.  Yep, was glad I got in on the ETAs and YES you will see I already edited my,ahem, typo...   Enjoy the holidays...

Thanks Ken...  This was John's first foret into the automatics - he has several varieties, all of which look great.  Check out their website, I think you will be impressed!
