I know there's Mac users, and Windows users here. Just curious if anybody updated, or plans to update, to Vista.

I don't. I hate change. I'll wait till I'm forced to coyote2.gif

Why bother? Give it another year for real users to work out the bugs and then make the upgrade if you need to.

I have Vista installed on my PC at home.. It's RC2 and it's been pretty stable for me, and I've had since the day it was released.  The Aero feature is pretty cool, but nothing more than "pretty gadget".

However, there are a lot of applications that don't work for it yet.. so I'd be double check things before purchasing it.

I put the upgrade in my laptop. It was sold to me as a free upgrade. Its very stable, but if you are running 512mb of ram you'll need to get at least a gig. This os sucks ram. I use a memory tool to see ram usage. XP, if it has the access, likes to use about 500megs, vista accessed 725megs when installed.

Thanks for your replies! Another ploy by Microsoft to get us to spend more money, and eventually throw away our current software (and me eventually having to teach my parents how to use it happy1.gif)
