As I posted in another topic, I haven't had a good cigar in almost a year..  A VERY good friend of mine just had a baby and I'm going to visit him in a couple weeks, and what better gift (besides diapers) to give than a cigar?  I usually pick up a few cigars during our local Octoberfest, but I'm by no means an expert, and I'm fresh out.

However, both of us love a great cigar and I'm willing to spend a few bucks on a few good ones.

To my point.. I'm located northeastern Wisconsin and I'm heading to the very southern tip of Indiana, so I'm reaching out to any of you for ideas on a good cigar to get and possibly a venue to purchase one at (anywhere along my journey).  At least hook me up with an idea or two and I'll try and find it..

Thanks in advance!!

Hi Josh...  you came to the right place for suggestions.  If you look at the threads in this forum, you will see quite a few to choose from.  My favorites are:

AVO Maduro No.2

Romeo y Julieta Cedros No. 1

Those are a couple of 'favs' that are around $6-$7 a stick.   A Rocky Patel is pretty good, for a little more...  and if you really wanna grab a good stick, try an Opus X.

Hope this helps alittle - and good luck in your search.  Don;t know of any shops along your path, but if I find any will post em here....
Steve
