Frankly, I'll take the 22 points. The only thing in the Buckeye's favor is that in the demolition-in-the-desert the Buckeyes were supposed to just walk on the field and win. Now the shoe is on the other foot. We'll see. |

Congrats to the Gators....anyone have the same opinion of the game though....no question Florida dominated, but never put the game out of reach. The way they played it seemed at times that they were going to go up by 30...but never did, UCLA looked like they were either disinterested, or thought they were playing some highschool team and could turn on there "game" whenever they wanted to...Wrong. I dont know just odd to me??? |

Congratulations to the Gators and Buckeyes!! And thanks too as I am the winner of our NCAA pool. No matter who wins it is impossible to beat me. More moola for the watch fund!! I am pulling for the Buckeyes... I just don't see a repeat... |

I'm beginning to think that the Gators are getting bored with the "blow-outs".....That said, UCLA looked that way because the Gators made them look that way! |

I see....................well I've got to hand it to you Big 10, uh, Big 11, uhhhh, no Big 10 guys (God I wish you'd learn to count!:)). Every time the Gators win, it's because the other team is "flat", and yet, when OSU wins, it's because they are a great team!!! Good thing Florida's schedule was booked only against "flat" teams! face4.gif Well, here's hoping your great basketball team is as "flat" on Monday as your "great" football team was last January! :D:D:D .....and as they were last December 23rd!!!coyote2.gif And a little something from an "anonymous" January 8, 2007 post!!!!.....................hehehehe! I think the Gators have a chance.....NOT!!! Attached Image (viewed 39 times): Just looked...............don't see anything in here about "flat", although I do see reference to UCLA's relentless defense! From FOX Sports: "Powerful 6-foot-8 senior forward Chris Richard came off the bench to score 16, senior guard Lee Humphrey contributed 14 points, making four threes; junior point guard Taurean Green had 10 and 6-foot-11 junior center Joakim Noah and 6-foot-9 junior power forward Al Horford combined for 28 rebounds as the Gators disected UCLA's relentless defense, taking what the Bruins (30-6) gave them when they opted to double Florida's bigs anytime they touched the ball in the low post." |

I may have to eat crow on Monday night, but then I could always pull a "Big Tenner" and claim that Florida was simply "flat" that game!:P:P:P |

OK. To quote ESPN, "Gators sail" to a victory while "OSU holds on" to win. And I believe the margin of victory in the OSU game was only 7 points. Its pretty clear that even ESPN knows that the Gators will prevail on Monday. |

Also from ESPN: Saturday night in the Georgia Dome, Florida showcased its individual well-roundedness. "well-rounded"...translation, not FLAT.... heh... KenC wrote: srh_pres wrote:OK. And let's see... the last time the Buckeyes won a basketball championship was in... 1960. The last time the Gators won a basketball champoinship was in... oh yeah... LAST YEAR! hmmm, you do the math... Talk about heart...Florida's entire starting lineup put the NBA on hold and came back for a chance at a repeat. |

Since I dont care who wins..............Steve and Ken, do you think the talk about Donavan already having a foot in Kentucky will have any effect on the players?? Most people think that Florida will match the offer or beat it. Also, I dont think UCLA was flat....they had no hunger IMHO. |

"Florida coach Billy Donovan isn't going to end up at Kentucky, as his been rumored; instead, he's headed to coach the Miami Heat." (ESPN) In which case, I doubt that UF can match any offer that Miami can come up with... I bet Oscar has a few broken Invicta's on dead gator straps he'd wager. BTW, those two go together oh so well. That is the best thing you can do with a gator. Make a watch strap out of it. Ye-ha! |

Tony Duronio wrote: Since I dont care who wins..............Steve and Ken, do you think the talk about Donavan already having a foot in Kentucky will have any effect on the players?? 1) Oh yes you do!!! 2) Kentucky is after Donovan...Donovan has no reason to be interested in Kentucky. JMHO, but, would you rather build your own "dynasty" like Donovan has....or be an "add-on" to someone elses! If it's simply a matter of money, there is no way Florida will lose............the Gator Nation reels it in....heck, a National Champion it Gatorland is worth $4 million in T-shirt sales alone (and several $100 million in alumni donations)! I don't see how the talk could effect this team anyway. Each and everyone of them could have easily gone Big Contract NBA last year. Mostly likely, they will all be gone next season. 3) Are you telling me that UCLA's "relentless defense"......... in which 3 key players fouled out attempting to stop Florida.........had no "hunger"? Or were they just "hungry" on defense and not on offense.......hehehehe!!!
