Not sure how many of you own or would like to own a Land Rover or Range Rover, but since I was given the go ahead I thought I would mention, I am a moderator on one of the friendliest Land Rover Forums on the Web.

http://www.landroverworld.org

I log in as Joey over there, since I am a Mod I just don't feel right about using my business name as my login.

After being on several Watch forums and finding this to be one of, if not the best IMHO, I know that everyone here will find Land Rover World of the same family type atmosphere as you find here.

Oh they are one cool ride. I have known a few folks with them. If the doc ever lets me drive again one would be a maybe. :)

But till I drive again I just look and slobber now and then at various rides.  LOL :D

Can't drive, I am real sorry to hear that.... I would go insane if I couldn't drive.  But then again I just feel at home behind the wheel of a vehicle.

If you decide to get one.. go with a RR then, much more comfortable.  Pick up a nice 4.6 HSE 98 - 01 model you can even get them real resonably priced.

I know if I buy another that is what I would buy.  For now I will stick with my '97 Discovery, of course it has a 2" lift and 31 inch mud tires so it doesn't ride as well as it could.

But it is still fun to drive (Off Road)rev_smile.gif

But yea I am a DAV 100% sc. Won't go into details. But I have faired much better than most. The VA hospital director is my main doc so things have always gone fast for me with needs.

That '97 Discovery is kewl hand6.gif

Amps....great site.........I have always loved driving the Range Rover, but have always been afraid to buy one because of quality control issues (and that's why I never bought a Jaquar).  Who owns/makes Rovers these days now that BMW gave up?

Currently Ford is the Parent owner, but they are looking to sell.

Quality control is always fun in several European manufactures.  I love Lotus, but until recently they were very expensive to keep on the road... probably why I haven't bought one yet.

Well, Ford did a reasonable job of improving Jaquar quality (Hey, they now run as good as a Ford :P)...What seems to be the problem with Rover?  BMW quit and now Ford wants to quit!...I love the way they look and drive!

Used to be my daily ride until I got married.

If you're going to go LR, get a proper one!
