So, let's cook. I planned on making a Steak Tartare tonight, but the meat grinder at my butcher was, well, butchered ;), so I went with some "Mett" with onions on buttered poppy seed rolls:

and the remainig roll with a helping of Nutella:

Enjoy!

excellent ....I was wondering (because this is what is planned for tonight) what is the best ingredients to use on KA-BOBS ???? I tried baby red potatoes with chicken and steak (with onions and green peppers)  ...but they were left undone ...should I half boil the potatoes first ??? I tried to full-boil them and they were mush when the rest of the ka-bobs were finished ??? Any sugestion would be appreciated .........

Hi CJ and thanks for replying!
It's always a good idea to pre-prepare all ingredients so that they'll be done simultaneously.

I'm not the biggest kebab fan in the world, but you could google for "Kebab" and "al pastor" for the mexican variant. The king of kebabs is the Doner kebab, it's found more frequently than bratwursts over here!

Please take some pics of the preparation and keep us posted of the outcome!hand6.gif

My wife LOVES Nutella. I'm not gaga over it, but I can see how folks could go CRAZY over it. happy1.gif
