Finally found my Orangina & I couldn't be happier about it. Now that I have it, I am wondering how many of each Orsa were made? I am sorry if there is already info on the forum related to this but I just recall getting bits and pieces here and there. How many: Oranginas 3T's Silver Angler Lumes Other models and numbers produced would also be useful. But mostly interested in the "divers". Thanks, Scottie ps. I'll post a few pics of the Orangina when the watchadoo arrives.

All of the Sea Anglers were LE's of 50....the 3T is at 11 in existance with 10 or so left to be assembled as soon as the movements are availablehand6.gif

I was just curious about the movements on the 3T's b/c the new Monstrum's will have the Miyota movement....correct? I am glad to hear Orsa will use the ETA's on the 3T's. I believe this is a superior movement and wish they could use it in the Monstrum's. Any thoughts from anyone on the Miyota movement? I am not to familiar with it.

As they say...it's a workhorse of a movement.....Invicta and others use it alot and I think it's the 8215 which does not hack!!! I have heard of only one problem called second hand shutter....I think, but other than that I'm fine with it!!!

I just think that maybe a swiss movement like Sellita, http://www.sellita.ch/, would be a better choice. I have a thing for Swiss movements. This is all just my opinion & I'm new here.....I just hate to see a Japanese movement used over a swiss movement. Not trying to stir up any trouble but curious.

The Sellita is basically what some call a clone to the Eta or a generic Swiss. But the higher end Japan movements do come in real close and in some instance have been said to be more accurate than any of the Sellita and some of the Eta movements. I prefer Swiss Eta myself but the Japan, Russian and even some China movements are gaining ground and the Eta squeeze is just helping that along more.

My Miyota movements seem more accurate and smoother than the Sellitta SW200's I have - so far... so I applaud Berg's choice for the Monstrum. hand6.gif

the sw200 is 95% swiss per Seliita pres. Enrique Garcia....that 5% that's not Swiss could be everything but the Ebauche:D:D funny how everyone is ready to accept a eta clone(sw200) when for years all WIS did was discuss and complain of the Asian eta and are willing to pay the same price as if it were a true Swiss eta  I would take a Miyota over an unproven SW200 for right now( i do own 4 sw200's which are running fine so far but the finish is rough compared to a eta) at a substantial savings until the 200 shows some signs of longevity as the eta and miyota have over the past 20yrs.imhohand6.gif Here's a link to the Miyota site...some nice movementswatch2.gifhttp://www.citizen.co.jp/miyota_mvt/
