Well today fellows was my annual yearly physical you know the man up, check up and I have to tell it was first time, You know where the Docter tells you bend over an.......... well you know, you get the pic. I spoke with Skip today, I mean 2 minutes before I am going to leave. Skip sympathized with me and tells me his little story, it help some, but when It was all done I still felt "VIOLATED" I mean, man, I tell you that "sucks". Here's the funny thing about it I got violated by a Breitling, the Doc was wearing a Breitling, dont ask me which model because I just wanted to get the hell out of there. So I took the day off for that.

Yea I am a human ginny pig or lab rat I think. Lets just say I have had a whole lot of the same for over a decade. Nuff said. :? I feel for ya man. Be glad it is only once a year. I'm just glad I'm down to 2 times a year till I hit 50. ;)

Hey Skip and Teddy It happens as you get older. It has gotta be done. I was once on a flight back from Paris through Tokyo. Rumor had it there was a drug smuggler somewhere on board. At least that was what I was told as the happy man from Tokyo snapped the rubber glove on... and as a result I will NEVER go through Tokyo as a stopover ever again. And I thank my lucky stars that medical physicals here are only required once a year. Oooh the indignity - that the man made the money for his Breitling in a bad way. All that money and he can't boast about his day job! Hope you are both in fine health aside from all that. Cheers! IanM

Well now that the subject has been laid out... I'll be enjoying a colonoscopy in just a few hours. The doc is a great guy and will either be wearing a UN or IWC. May be if I clench up I can get it off his wrist!! Like Ian said... it happens as you get older... problem is i don't wanna ge older if this is what it holds!!

I turn 48 in a month so that means I've got two yrs...Last yr when I had my last physical my Doc asked me if I wanted "it" done and I told him next time.....Which will be the same thing I tell him this year. I'm a firm believer in family history and no one in my past family tree had any problems....happy1.gif

Good luck Paxman! I had such a laugh when reading from you, Gregger and srh_pres ! My paranoia isn't rare, then, and nor is my clenching! It is just a bit sad what we have to go through to stay "healthy" in the eyes of our insurers... Stay well! IanM

Apparetnly my clenching was very real... alas, no watch to be found. For soem unkn own reason i seem to have a resistance to the concious sedation cocktail they provided me with intravenously. go figure, they had to use copious amounts of demerol, versed and benadryl to get me to "settle down". Apparetnly more of the drugs than are normally dispensed. Hmmmph!! Don't remember a freakin' thing. I was right with my self diagnosis of diverticulitis and they got 7 little polyps. I'm good for three years. Too many narcotics though. I was unable to keep anything down last night and was still zoned. It weren't so bad. The prep sux!! I tried to weasel a sympathy watch but my wife is too wise... and had her annual exam yesterday morning!!
