New here.  I was away from the hobby for 6 months taking a breather, and just came back and "discovered" Enzo watches.

So I'm buying a watch from Enzo with a black dial.  I got to looking, and realized that there were many different variations of black dials made (excluding a few personalized ones).  Maybe if you know of more add them in.  This is just for fun.  My fave is the dial on the PVD model with the 2tone symbol at 12.

enjoy

Actually, I will add a page of orange ones.  BUT I never saw any other colors (Orange and black only).

Here is the full pic of Number 4 (borrowed from the net, so let us know if it is your photo!).

Keep in mind, these are only the different variations I found, I have about 5-10 pics EACH of each of the above bezels.  It's part of my "hunting for the new watch process".  I save every possible picture I can find.  I must have over 100 Enzo pics on my hard drive.  I love to scan through them to re-excite myself when having to wait for the deal to close with Enzo.

Really well done, I also like the em001. The white is bold, it is easy to see the markings on the dial, the white dot on the second hand floating around. So many combo's to choose from......................so little income, doh!

Disclaimer:  I'm still on my "Enzo honeymoon" as my EM001 is only a couple of months old...

But he really is a design genius.  I think nowhere is that more evident than in the dials/faces.  Clean, legible lines where the functionality becomes almost elegant.  While I like the EM logo, especially in red....  I still prefer the non-logo dial of the EM001.  The logo is still engraved on the crowns, caseback, and clasp, so I prefer NOT having it clutter the face.

Nice pics and Happy hunting!  Once you settle on one and get it....  you'll spend too much time staring at it...  Or maybe it's just me.

I agree....to me it reminds me of XEMEX and the clean approach to telling time.....a bit of BAUHAUS...with the meat working tool of a deep diver.

That's a Enzo & Holland strap I got from him. Fits the chunkiness of the watch well!

EDIT:  OOps - I just realized it's the same face as the one in the middle above - except mine is on a black PVD EMV002.  Sorry. :(

Since you asked, and since I have an ongoing database of BORROWED Enzo pics from the web, here is what I have found.  I really like the black, may have to have one made someday.

Again, these are borrowed pics.  I KNOW some of them belong to Enzo, so some credit for the photos goes there.

I've not seen these!

Was that for a person or for a company?

Enzo, overall, how many watches have you made?

this was made for a client, as well as this one , although its a blurred shot :) oops!

well, i have a few other lines apart from enzo mechana., and there is emv of course. which i did 250, and 10 prototypes from that project period,

....then there were the custom projects, hybrids, prototypes,  etc. over the past few years., as well as small editions on many of the em series., which i have to count up as i have confused myself trying to keep up, i just like popping out things while im in the mood., and im excited about whats happening, ,

so you can say that i have been a bit busy playing dr. frankenstein to be sure :)

Enzo,

I love the idea of you sitting in your office trying various dial/hand/bezel combinations.  Delivering original watches based on what your customers are asking for is all very exciting.  That said: Here's my $0.02, not that you asked.  I say dump the red/orange hands.  I have never been a fan of plounger type hands either.  I understand the legibility argument for a dive watch, but I happen to think they throw off the visual symmetry of your designs.  Legibility has not been an issue for any of the dive watches I've seen from you, so why complicate the view?  Of course if someone wants it and you can build it for them, it's all goodness.  I simply prefer the cleaner look of the EM001 over those last couple.  You struck gold with that one, my friend.

Keep up the great work and have fun!

steve,

thanks my friend, i agree with you as well.  i just did a couple of them as it was cold and grey in nyc, and i wanted some brightness, no joke :)

i have never wanted to do plongeur hands either., i liked when i saw them on the omega, it was a nice detail, but since i made far too many different types of hands to have things to experiment with, and some clients wanted a very distinct minute hand for diving, i kinda enjoyed the look for a one off kinda thing.  i will say however, it does grow on you in person, as im doing a strange version now for me in orange :)

thanks again, and yes, simplicity is best :)

like this pic, i love the industrial total utilitarian vibe, great stuff! makes you want to put on a wetsuit and sit in the bathtub with your fins sticking out., til you get a chance to dive :)
