:( The security clasp on my Invicta Scuba broke and I'm trying to figure out what I can do to fix the thing without having to deal with the fabulous customer service at their center. I've thought about canabalizing a watchadoo band for the clasp but in this company that might be blasphemous. Another option I've pondered is using a pushpin or going waaaaaaay out on a limb and checking a local repair. If any of you know of one who might help in Orlando , I'd be very appreciative. Anyhoo, thanks in advance for the help. BTW The pin that broke is the fixed pin that secured the foldover security clasp to the band.

Hi solidus and welcome aboard 3T... might help if you can show a pic of the offending clasp. Some of these guys around here are pretty creative and might come up with something. Otherwise, am with jd - maybe find a replacement bracelet in whole or try a strap on it... ;) Am in Orlando, but hadnt found any local repair place. Only repair work I have had to do was on my 3T Orsa date wheel, which was repaired by Kent Parks, thanks to Berg.

Good luck with IT!!!! jdmac, Are there Scuba Bracelets on ebay? (not sure if U meant that or third party bracelets) If not, He really can't use any other bracelet on the Invicta Scuba. It is really thick, heavy, and custom fitted at the lugs. It is also a 25mm which isn't common either. So, he needs to get the clasp fixed. Attachment: scuba2.jpg (Downloaded 42 times)

When you say the pin broke, I'm guessing it sheared off on the end. Sort of like the head of a rivet breaking off. Just a guess. Anywho, you might be able to jury-rig something for a temporary fix or take it to a good watchmaker and let him/her have at it. DO NOT SEND IT IN TO INVICTA. Trust me! Deal with it yourself.

Ok , here's a picture. Notice the left side of the pin has a shoulder then the right side shoulder is sheared . I pretty much have to get this done too , because I'm wearing a SuperOcean Steelfish as a work watch till this is repaired. Thanks for the quick responses too. I would think a watchmaker could fix that. Otherwise, you will need to try and get a clasp out of Invicta which may be near to impossible. Generally, you are asked to send in the whole watch for any kind of repair to Invicta. If you do send it in, be advised that you may or may not get your exact watch returned to you. Let's see what others have to say here.

It's beyond me how these people could ever hope to have any type of status with the reputation they are establishing. I'll figure this one out one way or another. It would seem that they'd have some in stock for people who bought the rubber strap , but then again that would be expecting too much from them.
