I just received my new Glycine Airman 9 watch2.gif and was wondering? The Airman 9 does not have a regular seconds hand. :? But it does have a center seconds hand for the chrono function. woohoo.gif So, would running the chrono function 24x7, or at least while I'm wearing it (so I have a center seconds hand) cause any problems? Since the watch has a Val 7754 Automatic movement and when not worn, will sit on my winder, it should never loss it's reserve power. So the watch 'should' run fine all-the-time, right? Just wondering how much excessive wear will I really cause, running the chrono, all day long? face4.gif

Thanks,
Dave...

Well, the chrono mechanism isn't really meant to be run all the time, but as long as you keep the watch regularly serviced I'm sure you can run the chrono as much as you want.

The lack of a second hand (or a tiny one) is one reason I am not a fan of chronos, and most of the time that chrono hand is in the way.
