I had a feeling Berg used the same metal retainer ring or should I say wall in the Monstrum as he uses in the Sea Angler...and Yes he did!hand6.gif This is a Awesome system Berg uses to give that added security to the movement....this one is even polished on the inner diameter and has a polymer ring atop the wall...the movement is as you can see the 21 jewel Miyota workhorse!watch2.gif

   ...The retainer rises close to the caseback and I am sure the added rotor noise some are hearing is due to the movement housing acting like an echo chamber because as I had the caseback off I gave it a whirl and it was much quieter!.....this is not a retainer you see in a watch at this price range or even higher!...Awesome job again Berg!thankyou.gif
