So here's what I know about Omega "Milanese" bracelets.  Better known as mesh to us all.  Owned one briefly.  I was a little concerned about fit as well.  My 7.5" wrist is too small for some of the mesh bracelets out there.

Luckily, the Omega was spot-on after only a little micro-adjust at the clasp.  Fit and felt fine.  Inspecting the bracelet I got the impression wirecutters could be used to remove a single row of mesh at a time to get a better fit if needed.  Don't hold me to that, but that's how it looked to me.

Great look and feel aside, the detail that didn't work so well for me was Omega's seatbelt type clasp.  With no folding deployant it's pretty easy to drop yer watch as you fumble to operate that clasp.  Got to the point I would only try to put the watch on extending my wrist out over the bed.  Dropped it more than just a time or two!
