Well I've had it since Christmas and it spent the first week on my wrist just to see how it would stand up to desk diving and see how it was running.
It's running about +10 a day which is just a hair fast for my tastes but it will do until I get my timing machine in February or March.

Without looking at the dial this watch is the most spectacular watch I own.
The bracelet is by far the most comfortable one I own next to my mesh bracelets.
The fit and finish is spot on, case work is beautiful and it's got a big signed 9mm crown that is butter smooth and easy to use.
I was surprised to find some kind of off color AR on the crystal, with a water drop test it appears to be yellow green colored AR.

The display caseback shows off a nice signed Nickle 2824. The bracelet is a solid link solid end link work of art!

The bezel insert, dial and hands are very understated compared to the rest of the watch. I remain undecided as to whether or not I like this combination but regardless the whole presentation is amazing in person. The bezel insert is a matte finish dark blue and matches the matte finish dark blue dial perfectly! The lume is not spectacular but it's on par with every other high end watch and the Accutron logo at 12 glows too which is a really nice touch!

At the shnoop price I stole this watch but If I was looking at it at it's regular price I would pass without a bit more impressive dial, bezel insert, and hand combo. Don't expect to see my Accutron up for sale anytime soon though it is still a great addition to any collection!

Great insights, Chris. I couldn't agree with you more. Spot on brother!! I've really come to like the AR and find a gives the dial some neat looks depending on how light dances off it.

I went with blue like you but think it looks great in any of the colors. Deal of the year and a lot of satisfied WIS sporting VX200s!yourock.gif

Really good review.  I agree with all your points.  I also picked up the blue dial and love it.  Your pics were great!

Good review.  I couldnt agree more with everything that you have said.
You are the first to address the understated dial, bezel and hands.  This
has bothered me also and I too am undecided if I like it that way or not.
I bought this as a dress watch and I feel they fit better with that genre.

I am honored to be in such esteemed company. :)

Ok, let me be the first to say I like the understated dial and hands. I have the black one and the red/black one. I would have to say it is one of the most comfortable watches I have ever owned. Especially for its size and weight.

My only wish would be for better lume. It is acceptable, but my Tissot 1000 smokes it.:D
