Don't know if anyone will be able to help me on this but here goes. Ages ago I bought this Orsa Pro-Diver auto second hand.  Hopefully the image will work Great watch but one that has developed a small problem, namely the crown refuses to screw down. It was always a bit touch and go but now it flatly refuses to play ball. I don't know whether the crown thread, pendant tube or case is stripped, all functions work as they should. I've been in touch with Orsa through their website and via email but I've had no response. So my question is does anyone have a beat up one of these they no longer want that I can have for a reasonable price? Or do you think it's possible to transfer the movement and dial to another case? It's an esa 2824-2 movement. It seems such a shame to let it go unworn as it's a lovely watch and in unmarked condition. Thanks for reading and any help/advice will be greatly received. It is likely the threads on the crown have stripped. Unfortunately this watch is no longer made so I'm not sure if Orsa can find a replacement part for you. The Prodiver is also a rare bird so I doubt many people are willing to flip with theirs as a parts watch. Nice gray dial with ladder hands that you have there!

hi. I'm new to this forum, but do have some years of collecting and work on watches. It would be a shame to gut your watch since the case is in such nice shape. Its a common case and movement assembly. There are a number of facilities that can fix your watch. Stoll and company being one. If the tube is a part of the case it can be filled and reworked.

Most like the threads inside the crown are stripped. I decent watch maket ought to be able to get a new crown assembly for it.
