If you own an homage, now is your time, to skip it along the asphalt and sell it for more?

subtlelaugh.gif I've been wrong thinking that I shouldn't let my watches get scratched and dinged.

You know you can buy Fender custom guitars that are their best high end instruments with what they call RELIC treatment. Paint all dinged and scraped.  The difference it is still a high end piece of art. This is an imitation made to look like an old piece.  Really makes you wonder how stupid some people think others are.

I've seen a few of these with the vintage eight day movement or the vintage Cortbert manual wind that were made by semi pro watchmakers go for less than that!!

Those cali dial homages I think can even be found on the bay now for a couple hundred...
And personally I think people are sick who distress a watch intentionally!

Where are the Budweiser refs when you need them!

Personal foul, intentionally roughing the chronometer, unWISman like conduct, 10 lashes with a wet noodle, first down...

He sent me an email last night wondering if I "had some kind of problem" with him.

I guess I offended him....
