I bought my wife a Swiss Army with a slate gray dial and she Loves it, and that was before she saw the engagement ring I bought at the same time:D.

Justin,

Quartz or Auto? The women are enamoured with the Michele line of watches, they seem to be well built/Swiss and usually have a few diamonds which they like.

We bought each other men's and women's Movado automatics one year for our anniversary. Not a real exciting watch for me, but she loves hers. I have to say it's  the most comfortable watch I've ever owned, hardly know I have it on. They do look pretty nice.

women's version

Are you thinking sporty or dressy or something that can be worn as both?

It would be a watch for both. I would like to have to bands for this watch one stainless steel and one leather. I took a look at the Michele watches and I am very impressed. I have attached a pic of one that i'm interested in. Now there is a similar one for $110 less and not chronograph.

How 'bout this manual? Just outside the price range but still a great deal.
